A world of mashups now possible!

SilverStripe websites are now more easily able to contain articles, photos and videos found elsewhere on the internet, thanks to Lakshan Perera, who has released:

• Flickr Module v0.2: An update to the existing module, sporting more configuation, reliability, and a more polished interface (demo).
• Youtube Module v0.1: Provides equivalent features, but for movies (demo), and
• Technorati Module v0.1: Lets your SilverStripe automatically contain the latest and most relevant links and stories about any given topic on the net (demo)
• TwitterStatus Widget v0.1 which extends the SilverStripe blog module to show your latest Twitter Status.

Our modules page has screenshots and more information. These modules require SilverStripe 2.2.

Working over in Sri Lanka, Lakshan is one of our Google Summer of Code hackers who has turned into a longer term community contributor, which we're really thrilled with. Lakshan has also put his hand up to help out with translations, our e-commerce module, and the events module that is under development... thanks very much!
