You can't be further away from Germany than New Zealand, but coming from Hamburg (which has the same undeserved reputation for bad weather) you can’t feel more at home than in Wellington.
In his role as developer, Andreas works with the rest of the team on large projects, often acting as technical lead. He also contributes to open-source, and leads development of SilverStripe's SQLite module.
Andreas has a passion for robust application frameworks and open source software in general. With 10 years of experience in PHP and MySQL Andreas fits perfectly into his role.
In his spare time Andreas enjoys reading, cooking, sailing, and looking up the English words he picked up at work. He bought a ukulele recently but he admits he plays it "with more passion then skill."
