The SilverStripe interface has been translatable into multiple languages for some time now, thanks to Bernat and the Google Summer of Code program.

SilverStripe just got a healthy dose of humour thanks to Wojtek's recently created LOLCAT translation. Wojtek mentions this challenge as the highlight from more than a dozen challenges he's worked on while working with us on the GHOP 2008 contest.

One of the unexpected delights from the still-running Google Highly Open Participation contest was Polish highschooler Wojtek Szkutnik's translation of the SilverStripe system into Esperanto, an easy and flexible language created in 1887 to be a universal second language to foster peace and international understanding.
So, as the title of this post asks: can you speak Esperanto?

SilverStripe 2.2 is due out shortly, and will support languages other than English thanks to hard work by Bernat earlier in the year.
We've had a few people alpha test the system to iron out the bugs and we've already got thousands of words translated. Depending on how much time these initial people have, the translations will make their way into the imminent SilverStripe 2.2 release candidate 1.
