Upload your widgets to us!

We've now added a form to submit your widgets so that they feature on our widgets download page.

So, if you've created a cool widget please upload it! If you're new to widgets then please post it first to our forum and get feedback, as we will only host widgets that meet our coding conventions and widget packaging guidelines.

More goodies!

We've just released:

• SilverStripe 2.2.1rc2 and forum 0.1.2rc2 for testing (changelogs)
• Two new themes to download, Gecko and Haze.
• Three new widgets to add feedburner support, show links, or display the current time in any country.

Google Summer of Coder Lakshan  Parera emailed us today with a widget which you can drag & drop into your SilverStripe blog. It shows your latest twitter status updates.

It also shows how easy it is (50 lines of PHP and 5 lines of HTML) to produce a SilverStripe widget that grabs information from another website. With this, we've launched the widgets download area, and look forward to people contributing more widgets.
