Brent Neave
Designer
Brent joined SilverStripe in September 2009. He is an experienced interactive designer with 8 years experience making websites, games, and interactive campaigns. He writes about himself in the third person.
After finishing university in 2002, he picked up a scalpel and a pair of scissors and went into print design. After some close calls with sharp edges, he moved into web design because most of the equipment is blunt and relatively safe.
He has had the pleasure of working with both big clients and small ‘mom and pop’ operations, and he enjoys the unique challenges and approaches each presents. He is passionate about producing design solutions that go beyond a good-looking surface and which actually work well.
When he is not at the meeting table, nudging pixels around, or cutting super-clean HTML and CSS, you can find Brent losing at poker, riding his push bike, and polishing his menagerie of aging ‘future classic’ cars.
