Dewey Digital
From Tim Chambers, Dewey Digital's Co-Founder:
Dewey Digital is the new media arm of one of the most influential strategic marketing and grassroots communications consulting companies in the US, the Dewey Square Group. The Dewey Square Group in turn is fully owned by the WPP Group, a world leader in marketing communications. Dewey Digital's mission is to bring cutting edge emerging tools to bear in creating 21st century campaigns—including marketing, issue advocacy and political campaigns. Dewey Digital has offices in Los Angeles and Washington DC.
Dewey Digital worked with SilverStripe to create a number of sites, including the 2008 Democratic National Convention site, which saw record-breaking traffic of millions of users, and was a central platform that integrated a number of other web API's, technologies and media technologies. We also used SilverStripe to build out the First Lady of California, Maria Shriver's, annual The Women's Conference site. This is the ongoing online community site, and online presence for the yearly conference.
At Dewey Digital we are constantly searching for the most cutting edge and simplest solutions to help our clients better engage and communicate to an ever-evolving, increasingly connected digital world. We specifically sought out a content publishing system that could stitch together seamlessly with a host of other web services, could manage tons of different media types, languages, and platforms, and could do so in a way that brought simplicity, not complexity to the entire process. And no contest, SilverStripe was it.
