SilverStripe 2.0.0 released - no more betas!

Posted by Sam on 3 February 2007

I'm pleased to announce that SilverStripe 2.0 is no longer in beta.  Version 2.0.0 was released today.

This is the first stable release since we open-sourced our CMS in October, an important milestone for us.  Our development energy will now go into version 2.1, which will focus on usability and a module and template library to help you get SilverStripe sites up and running more quickly.

Visit the download page to get the PHP installer.

The Windows installer will be on its way very shortly.  If you run Windows, you might want to try WAMPServer or XAMPP.

  • We've submitted the CMS to opensourcecms.com a couple of weeks ago, we're waiting on them to install it.

  • Just found out about SilverStripe CMS via the Webstandardsgroup CMS list - looks very promising at a first glance. Please try to get listed at http://opensourcecms.com/ for broader publicity.
