Trouble Uploading to Web Host

I have created my SS site which works fine on WAMP server on my local system. When I upload the files to the HTDOCS folder with my web host I get an error page.
HTTP 403 Forbidden
The website declined to show this webpage
Most likely causes: This website requires you to log in.Is there anything that I need to do before uploading the files to my web host? Is there a tutorial I can follow?
